The main responsibility of teaching assistants (TAs) is to assist in the education of undergraduate and graduate students in the various subjects offered by the department. The duties and responsibilities of departmental teaching assistants vary from subject to subject, but TAs in general should expect to devote up to 20 hours per week on TA duties.
